About the Team
The eigenX team is remote-first and highly distributed, with English as our primary language for communication. We seek self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, high-impact startup environment. Most team members are based in European time zones. Availability for scheduled team meetings between 1pm–6pm CET is required.
About You
eigenX is seeking an experienced Head of Institutional Partnerships to accelerate adoption among financial institutions, enterprises, and large-scale protocols worldwide, with a primary focus on the U.S. market. You will originate, negotiate, and close strategic partnerships that position eigenX as the default restaking infrastructure for institutions building or integrating blockchain solutions. The ideal candidate brings a deep network in institutional crypto, fintech, and enterprise technology, and can guide complex sales cycles with technical precision and commercial acumen. This role requires candidates to be based in New York City.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute eigenX’s global institutional business development strategy.
  • Leverage your network to engage financial institutions (banks, asset managers, custodians, payment processors, exchanges) and enterprises exploring restaking or AVS integrations.
  • Own the full partnership lifecycle—from outreach and solution design to negotiation, closing, and post-launch success.
  • Partner with engineering, product, and marketing teams to translate institutional requirements into roadmap priorities.
  • Represent eigenX at flagship fintech, crypto, and enterprise conferences, including keynote speaking and panel participation.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and restaking adoption to uncover new partnership vectors.

Who You Are

  • Based in New York City.
  • 7+ years in enterprise sales, institutional partnerships, or business development within fintech, crypto, or infrastructure tech.
  • Proven existing network across digital assets, traditional finance, and enterprise blockchain adopters.
  • Track record of closing high-value, complex deals with long sales cycles.
  • Ability to distill restaking mechanics, economic security models, and AVS architecture for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Self-directed operator who excels in ambiguity and collaborates seamlessly across global, distributed teams.
  • Passionate about shaping institutional engagement with decentralized infrastructure from the ground up.
