Our Korean ecosystem is already thriving through integrations with Upbit, Bithumb, Korbit, and local node operators including Hashed, NodeBrick, and Chain Partners. We’re now ready to appoint a Korea Lead to own community, builder, and institutional growth on the ground.We’re a distributed team of operators obsessed with making restaking the universal security standard. As we scale globally, we need a Korea Lead to supercharge adoption among retail restakers, AVS builders, and institutions.
Role Overview
As Korea Lead, you’ll own eigenX’s entire Korean market strategy. This is a high-visibility, cross-functional role spanning community activation, developer onboarding, institutional partnerships, and cultural localization.
Key Responsibilities

Ecosystem Growth: Design and execute GTM strategies to drive restaking adoption among Korean retail users, traders, and AVS teams.

Community Engagement: Activate Korean trading communities, KOLs, and local media to fuel organic growth and TVL inflows.

Developer Relations: Onboard AVS builders via hackathons, grants, technical workshops, and localized documentation.

Localization: Translate technical content (restaking mechanics, slashing rules, reward models) and tailor narratives for Korean audiences.

Partnerships: Deepen integrations with exchanges, wallets, custodians, and institutional stakers; leverage recent regulatory tailwinds.

Advocacy: Represent eigenX at Seoul Blockchain Week, Upbit Conference, local meetups, and regulatory roundtables.
Qualifications
- 3–7 years in crypto, ideally with Layer 1 infrastructure, restaking, or DeFi protocols.
- Deep Korean market expertise: relationships with traders, KOLs, developers, and institutional players (banks, asset managers, custodians).
- Proven community-building track record in Korea (Discord, Kakao, Telegram, or offline).
- Fluent in Korean and English (written/technical).
- Self-directed operator comfortable in a remote, high-autonomy environment.
Nice to Have
- Experience launching restaking campaigns or token incentives in Korea.
- Organized hackathons, builder bootcamps, or campus programs.
- Technical grasp of restaking economics, operator sets, and AVS architecture.
- Existing ties to institutional stakers (post-VASP clarity).
